Parent Teacher Association
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) is very active and organises many social and fund-raising activities at the school throughout the year.
These have made a significant contribution towards the acquisition of such items as a new interactive whiteboards.
The PTA is also funding the replacement of the current playground equipment and the development of the school outside learning environment.
We hope you will agree that it is important for the whole school family to support these and other fund-raising activities.
Many parents are content to turn up at functions, enjoy the fun, confident they are supporting a good cause.
Others are pleased to be able to help out in a voluntary capacity at functions or in school e.g. decorating the playhouse or running a stall at a fete.
Those who wish to have even more involvement can be elected to committees.
All parents are urged to support the school and its PTA and to attend the regular meetings they hold throughout the year.
If you would like to get involved and help support the school (and the village) contact the Head Teacher.
Our Governors are very supportive and take their responsibilities seriously.
They have a responsibility for the curricular and financial management of the school. Individual governors monitor specific areas of school life and regularly visit the school. Governors meet at least once a term. Minutes are kept in school and are available to parents on request.
